I hope you've all had a good start of the new year. A bit late but still I would like to wish you all the best for 2014! Hopefully it will be an enjoyable, exciting and rewarding new year for all
of you.
After a busy November and December month I had a fairly quiet start of the year which was nice (and necesary ;-)). It gives a good feeling though looking back at the concerts I've had with Frank
Harrison end of November in Luxembourg, Saarbrücken and Heerlen. In Saarbrücken I've made this little video of our rendition of the beautiful song
"Emily".
Upcoming Concert in Trier
this week:
At the moment I'm preparing a one-off concert with pianist Georg Ruby that will take place at theBrunnenhof Café in Trier this Thursday 30th
January (starting 19.00 hours). The Brunnenhof Café (very close to the Porta Nigra) is the new place to be in Trier to hear live music so don't hesitate to look at the rest of
their program. I will sing during the second part of the evening together with Georg Ruby (piano/organ) and some excellent young students from the Musikhochschule in Saarbrücken. Lots of
improvisation, groove, swing, interaction and fun. I'm very much looking forward to it!
Upcoming concerts with piano player Frank Harrison in February:
Another concert I'm very much looking forward to is the one on Sunday morning 9th
February (11.30 -13.00) at the Brasserie of the Abbaye de Neumünster in Luxembourg. This will be with the Frank Harrison Trio. With Davide Petrocca on the double-bass and Jean-Marc

On the same day in the evening at 19.00 hours I will be in the Brunnenhof in Trier but then in trio with Frank and Davide. This will be a more intimate concert with beautiful ballads and some
smooth latin grooves.
