Dear all,
The summer seems to be behind us and I hope you've all
enjoyed the sun, the warmth and the holidays! Last Saturday I was singing at an outdoor festival in France (in
Hussigny, just across the border from Luxembourg) and weather wise it was still just okay but now it's really getting
colder, at least in Luxembourg. It was the first time for me to sing in France and even before we had our
performance we were asked to sign posters and the CD. That gave us a very welcoming feeling and it was great to
notice that the audience was so appreciative. Very special! Here is a video of our concert

Mineur in Hussigny. The sound doesn't give credit to my band but they were swinging!
To promote the festival, me and my guitar player Dany Schwickerath also had a guest performance in France
for Mirabelle TV, a
local television
station in Lorraine. It was an exciting but very nice experience and we survived it
;-) Here you can watch the programme. As of 4min30 Pascal Mazzalo from the festival
organisation talks about the festival and me and as of 5min45 we're playing the song "Social Call". After that
the host of the show Valentine asks me one question (fortunately ;-)) and that's it :-)
End of November I'll also be performing in Holland for the first time at the "Heerlen Jazzt" festival in
Heerlen. I'm very much looking forward to that especially because I'll have the opportunity to play again with the
wonderful piano player Frank Harrison from London. So, the date is:

For
those living in Luxembourg: two days before, on Friday 22nd November we will also be in Luxembourg at the
Cercle Münster in the Grund! More details

Other upcoming concerts for this year are:
- Two concerts with the Rudi Schaaf Band in Saarbrücken en Saarwellingen on 19th and 20th September. Lots of original pieces and improvisation!
- On 17th October I've been invited by Georg Ruby as a guest in the Brunnenhof Café in Trier. It's a jazz evening with the HFM Workshop band from Saarbrücken featuring Georg Ruby and me.
- Friday 8th November I will have a concert with the Blue Art Orchestra in the Villa Fuchs in Merzig (D) with a choir. Will be impressive to have so many people on stage!
